Great runs at Hatta for JESS students

Congratulations to all runners who competed in this year’s 5k cross country run at Hatta Fort: Anna Knightly (Y7), Mouna Baba (Y8), Lizzy Hancock (Y8), Harris Carvell (Y7), Sean Carr (Y7), Samuel Hancock (Y7) and Daniel McFeely (Y13). Not to be deterred by a very early rise, Anna Knightly completed the challenging circuit in 23.11; securing a comfortable win in the junior girls category. She had a minute to regain her breath before welcoming the first senior girl to cross the line! Lizzy Hancock came 3rd followed closely behind by Mouna Baba. Harris Carvel continues to prove himself speedy underfoot with an impressive time of 22.31. A Hatta cross country veteran, Daniel McFeely set a new personal best for himself (21.27).
