Running shoes to the ready for Jumeirah

JESS Jumeirah Running Club
After a very enjoyable break over the festive period, it was time for everyone at JESS Jumeirah to put down the turkey, dust off the running shoes and start January with a bang!
Since December, the ‘Safa Park’ running group has been an enormous success and, due to popular demand, it has continued to run into January, twice a week. Parents and pupils alike arrive at the park after school, running in small groups, and working together to push each other to achieve personal best times.
One of the best things about this club has been the diversity of members: pupils all the way from Foundation 2 to Year 6 have joined the club and completed the 3.5 Kilometre run with a smile on their face.
A special “thank you” should go to all the parents who have made an effort to come and run with the club and to help motivate the pupils; they have been key to the success of the club.
Well done to everyone involved; your commitment and determination has made this club a success.
