School fees will be invoiced on a termly basis and are payable at the start of each term, invoices will be sent directly to parents, via email, for each individual child, however, late payment may result in a 10% surcharge being applied. Children for whom school fees are outstanding from a previous term may not be allowed to start the next term.
The school is unable to offer any discount to families with more than one child and fees are payable in full regardless of sickness or absence.
For new children joining JESS a full term’s fees are payable should your child start at the beginning of the term. If your child is joining
during the term the school fees will be charged on a pro-rata basis.
Children leaving JESS are required to provide one term’s notice or schools fees in lieu will be payable.
All
standard books are included in the school fees.
Additional Costs - School uniform (available through an external source)
- Lunch/snacks ( provided by parents)
- Costs for excursions, school events and sports activities
- Daily school bus, if applicable to your child
- Some extracurricular activities that take place within the school
- Personal stationery items (please refer to the individual Key Stage for requirements)
- External examination fees (e.g. GCSE, IB, instrumental lessons)
- Instrumental music lessons
- Costumes for productions
- School photographs
- Year book
- Some specialist books (e.g. music)
- JPG fundraising and charity events
- Theatre visits
Parents can make payments to JESS via one of the 3 following methods:
1. Direct bank transfer.
2. By cheque at either branch of Jumeirah English Speaking School.
(NB Cheques should be in Dirhams and made payable to Jumeirah English Speaking School).
3. In cash at either branch of JESS.
