Year Seven

The following information is specific for this year group and is applicable to parents whose son or daughter is new to JESS or simply moving up to the next year group. Either way the transition from primary to secondary is a big step and our aim is to ensure that as a parent you have all the information you need and as a school we have all the necessary paperwork completed and received in time for us to prepare for your son/daughter.

The follow section refers to the mandatory documentation we require, please print, complete and ensure that they are received by JESS prior to the start date, your cooperation with this is appreciated.

New Parents Only

Medical Declaration
(also to be completed for Year 6 students coming from JESS, Jumeirah)
This declaration is to assist our medical staff to prepare for your son/daughter joining us it not only gives us vital information about their medical history but also gives our medical staff parental consent in the unlikely event of an emergency.

Introduction
As this is the first time for your son/daughter at JESS we feel to help them settle into school life it is important that we know as much about them as possible. Therefore, if you could ask them to complete 'Tell us about yourself' and return it to JESS before they join us it would be helpful.

Existing Parents

Parental Consent for Internet Use (Key Stage Three)
All students in Key Stage Three are given more access to the internet. Whilst this remains supervised we require your permission as a parent. As your son/daughter is moving from either JESS Year 6 all parents must return a signed copy of this agreement to school prior to, or on the first day of the new academic year.
