GCSE results for 2016 were beyond expectations. The strong cohort of 2015 were always going to be difficult to challenge but the class of 2016 pulled out all the stops to surpass their predecessors at every level.

We saw a 1.5% increase in A* grades to 21.8% and a 3.5% increase in A-A* to 57.9%. More than one in every five grades was an A* and well over half of the grades achieved were an A grade or better. Remarkable statistics for a mixed ability school.
