  • Film scoops two awards at International Festival

    JESS Arabian Ranches' first entry into the Children's International Film Festival competition won two awards - one for Best Cinematographer and the other, 1st Runner Up: Best Film. The 2017 award ceremony was attended by a group of talented actors and film-makers in Year 8. The festival, which took place over the first two weeks of May, brought together films for young audiences from professional film-makers from around the world, alongside short film entries by students in two age categories from across the UAE

  • Quran Awards Ceremony 2017

    This event was the culmination of many hours of hard-work, dedication and effort from pupils at both JESS Jumeirah and Arabian Ranches Primary; parents, pupils and staff gathered to celebrate and congratulate the participants and winners. Rayan Farhan opened the ceremony with an outstanding recitation of Quran, followed by Jasmine Argha, an aspiring presenter and event host. Congratulations to Alia Fayed and Hessa Alsayegh who were the overall winners of the Level 4 and 5 recitations.

  • Second place in DASSA U11 Swimming League

    The morning of 11th May saw the culmination of the DASSA U11 swimming league for A squads this year in Dubai at the Hamdan Sports centre. This has been a fiercely contested competition over many months and we were hoping to improve on our 3rd place finish last year. After a tumultuous effort on the part of many pupils, staff and parents we finished 2nd overall.
