It is always sad when a child has to leave but if for any reason you wish to withdraw your child from Jumeirah English Speaking School we would ask that you provide us with a full term's written notification, otherwise fees in lieu of notice may be liable for payment.

JESS will produce a report detailing your child’s academic achievements to date within the current academic year.  We will also provide you with a transfer certificate applicable to your future destination.

To ensure that we provide the correct documents according to your destination, please ensure that your notice contains the following information.

All Children

• The last date of attendance for your child
• The destination country (whether Dubai or abroad)

The name of the school your child is transferring to, if remaining in Dubai


Additionally for Personal Debenture Holders


The return of your original debenture certificate and the following information about your bank account details to enable us to process the refund.

Full account holders name

Account holders address, as registered with the bank

Bank account number

Bank address

IBAN number mandatory effective 19/11/2011 (please contact your bank for this information)

Swift Code, if in the UAE or  sort code if in UK or other

If you have a personal debenture the refund will coincide with your child's leaving date, providing a full terms notice has been received.  If you provide us with less than a full terms notice the refund will not take place until the end of the following term.  All refunds are subject to the school fee account being clear of any outstanding monies, including music and other activity costs and all books and resources being returned in acceptable condition.
