Senior School Production of Lady Windermere’s Fan

Year 12 and 13 IB students have worked hard all term to realise a two night run of Oscar Wilde’s Lady Windermere’s Fan at the beginning of December. This is a testing play written in the Naturalistic tradition, and it represented a departure from previous years in terms of its style and the level of challenge that this presents to its young actors.
We were delighted with the success of the production: the students rose to the occasion with aplomb, and learned so much from the process. Certainly, carrying off the delivery of huge chunks of text was a huge achievement for them.
