The third JESS Digital Innovation Summit is set to take place at JESS Dubai on Saturday 3rd November and Sunday 4th November 2018. Each day will offer unique professional development opportunities and a chance to share best practice with fellow attendees from across the MENA region.
Day One: Teaching and Learning
Day one focuses on Teaching and Learning and is aimed at educators from all teaching stages and curriculum areas, there will be a wealth of innovative education specialists showcasing projects and pedagogy that harnesses technology in meaningful ways.
Day 2: Digital Leadership
The second day of The Summit sees the focus shift to digital leadership and IT strategy, and is exclusively for school leaders, CEOs, directors and governors who are invited to attend and this day is free to attend. Delegates will enjoy a series of presentations from digital leadership experts, sharing best practice in the implementation of digital platforms across schools. This will be followed in the afternoon by the second Digital Leadership Forum - a definite highlight of the event last year.

Jim Knight, Baron Knight of Weymouth is the Chief Education & External Officer at TES, having successfully started their teacher training business, Tes Institute.
He is also a visiting professor at the UCL Knowledge Lab and a member of the House of Lords. Jim served as a Member of Parliament from 2001-2009, during which time he served as minister for schools.
Jim is a trustee of the Centre for Accelerating Social Technology, and Whole Education. He is also a member of the Future of Work Commission established by Tom Watson MP, and the Brookings Institution's Millions Learning 2.0 Advisory Group.
A member of the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills’ Entrepreneurs’ Forum, Priya is passionate about using her skills to educate the next generation of aspiring entrepreneurs.
Priya is also an Advisory Board Member to the Education Foundation, the UK’s leading education think-tank.
She received her OBE in 2014 for services to business, community and voluntary initiatives. Using her drive and acumen, she launched her second business, Century Tech, in April 2013. CENTURY, backed by Telefonica and the Cabinet Office, is a learning platform in the UK that utilises data mining techniques to provide a personalised learning experience to students.
