Teacher of Music

Teacher of Music

The successful applicant should:

  • be a passionate and inspirational educator who complements an outstanding team dedicated to the delivery of a high quality music programme which has an impact on student outcomes.
  • have experience teaching Foundation Stage – Year 6.
  • ability to identify, support and extend all learners of all abilities.
  • be an accomplished musician – with piano and orchestral instrument skills highly desirable.
  • have experience leading ensembles instrumental clubs and choirs.
  • be a highly motivated, exemplary practitioner with a strong work ethic.
  • have a sound knowledge of the Music curriculum, planning and assessment practices.
  • have knowledge of the use of ICT to enhance the music curriculum.
  • be a collegiate, dynamic teacher with high expectations for all.
  • contribute positively to all aspects of school life including performance which is central to our extensive extra-curricular programme.  
  • maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school both inside and outside the classroom.
  • encourage pupils to think and talk about their learning, develop self-control and independence, persevere, and listen attentively.

Teacher of Psychology

The successful applicant should:

  • demonstrate a clear appreciation of quality learning and teaching
  • be a highly motivated and exemplary practitioner with at least 5 years’ experience
  • Have experience delivering the UK National Curriculum (IB experience is an advantage but not essential)
  • be a collegiate, dynamic educator with high expectations
  • be a passionate educator who complements an outstanding team dedicated to the delivery of a high quality educational experience to all students
  • contribute positively to all aspects of school life including our extensive extracurricular programme, a coaching qualification in a major sport would be advantageous.
