A Celebration of Cultures

International Day at JESS Jumeirah was a vibrant celebration of the rich diversity that defines our school community. With so many nationalities represented across the campus, the day provided a unique opportunity for students to learn about and appreciate the cultures, traditions and stories that shape the world around them.
The campus came alive with colour as students and staff arrived in national dress, proudly showcasing their cultural heritage. Classrooms and outdoor areas were transformed into global hubs, each offering a feast for the senses—aromas of traditional dishes from around the globe, carefully curated displays, and hands‑on activities that helped bring each culture to life.
One of the day’s highlights was the array of native performances and entertainment, ranging from dance and music to storytelling and demonstrations. These shared experiences not only entertained but also educated, helping students deepen their understanding of one another’s backgrounds in a joyful and engaging way.
International Day is an annual reminder of our commitment to global citizenship, inclusivity and mutual respect. It truly captured the spirit of our diverse community and the power of learning beyond the classroom.
